Our short stay as a couple was filled with delightful surprises. The room had stunning views, and we were fortunate to see deer and red kites from our breakfast table. I particularly loved the fresh local ingredients featured in the breakfast, with homemade jams that were simply divine. Joyce and Gary's warm hospitality, including delicious cakes upon arrival, made us feel right at home. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby Cambus O'May Forest, which was just a short walk away. Can't wait to come back!

the room, although billed as 'superior', was not much to behold. breakfast was freshly made, which is nice but could have been more plentiful. i definitely woudl have appreciated some complimentary treats upon arrival, since i expected better service here. honestly, i almost considered a good review, but just couldn't after this experience.

Couples seeking warm hospitality
Joyce offered us warm cake and drinks to our room after a long day trekking,, such a nice touch. The spacious lounge with the river view was perfect for relaxing with tea and homemade cakes in the afternoon,, it felt almost like a scene from a movie.
It wasn't inexpensive,, but still worth every penny.
